The Regent's Park estate is currently managed by Cluttons, a firm of chartered surveyors, on behalf of The Crown Estate. In essence The Crown Estate owns the freehold of all the buildings in and around Regent's Park with the exception of London Zoo.
The Crown Estate Paving Commission, which despite its name is a separate body from The Crown Estate, is responsible for maintaining some of the roadways and ornamental gardens outside of the main park.
The Royal Parks Agency is responsible for Regent's Park and the Inner Circle roadway.
Cluttons is the first point of contact for all queries relating to the day-to-day management of the estate: matters relating to the leases, payment of rent and regarding proposals for alterations, assignments, lease extensions etc.
For all queries, contact details can be located on our estate maps. Please follow this link.
The Crown Estate Paving Commission
The Crown Estate Paving Commission (CEPC) was established in 1813. It maintains the terrace gardens (Ornamental Enclosures), the railings around them and the terrace access roads and pavements. The CEPC is responsible for the provision and maintenance of street lighting and street furniture in Regent's Park. It also maintains the roadways in York Gate, Chester Gate, Park Square East and West and pavements all around the outside of the Outer Circle. Its other functions include the regulation of parking in the private roadways, the collection of domestic refuse, patrolling the estate and the opening and shutting of park gates. Builders must obtain a licence from the CEPC before carrying out any work that may encroach on pavings, footways or terrace roadways.
