The apparent large increase in employee training is due to improved record keeping rather than an actual increase and, therefore, it is likely that we under reported training in our 2005 CR Report.

The large increase in IT equipment sent for recycling was mainly due to our move into new premises which lead to an overall IT upgrade.

Carbon dioxide emissions have increased. The main reasons for this are:
  • an increase in electricity consumption due to more IT equipment (particularly servers) in use; and
  • an increase in gas consumption due to leaving the heating on for longer after we moved to 24 hour security.
