Energy Efficiency Strategy

An energy efficiency strategy has been developed in conjunction with Rickaby Thompson Associates, to focus on our 1,300 affordable homes in London. This provides the housing business group with a clear plan of action for the improvement of the energy efficiency of the housing stock over the coming years, integrating energy efficiency improvements into broader repair and maintenance programmes and exploring new technologies. Not only will the implementation of the strategy help to reduce carbon emissions but it will help tenants to see a reduction in their energy costs. The strategy also establishes a framework for staff motivation, training and the provision of energy advice to tenants.
