Master Paintings Week, sponsored by The Crown Estate, is a collaboration between twenty leading galleries and three auction houses.
Each of the participating galleries, all of which are in the heart of London’s Mayfair and St James’s, will stage a special exhibition or event or unveil new discoveries, emphasising the unrivalled expertise to be found in London.

Recycling initiative wins award

The Swallow Street recycling initiative won ‘Waste Management Award of the Year’ at the SCEPTRE Awards 2014.
The waste management strategy introduced segregated waste streams to eight separate restaurants in the area, achieving 100 per cent diversion from landfill with the annual waste of more than 1,100 tonnes 100 per cent recycled.

Dunster estate shortlisted for RICS award

The Dunster estate has been shortlisted in two categories at the RICS South West Regional Awards.
Broadwood Farmhouse, Dunster has been nominated in the Tourism & Leisure category, while Forest Park, Dunster has been shortlisted in the Regeneration category.
St James’s development wins award

The Crown Estate, in partnership with Stanhope, have won the 'Best Commercial Workspace' award at the British Council for Offices awards (London and the South East) for the 1 Eagle Place development.
M&S extension at Silverlink Shopping Park

Marks and Spencer have taken on a new lease of the former Comet store at the Silverlink Shopping Park, Newcastle, extending their existing store, to a total of 74,056 sq ft of prime retail space. The new store opens on 11 April 2014. The scheme is now fully let.

Debenhams, New Look and Outfit have recently signed new leases at the Coliseum Shopping Park in Cheshire Oaks. These exciting new tenants, along with planned improvements at the park including new building facades, a children's play area and community garden will increase the offer to local people and visitors from afar.

Quadrant 3 fuel cell wins sustainability award

The revolutionary energy centre on our Quadrant 3 redevelopment has been awarded the Property Week Sustainability Award.
The hydrogen cell is the largest and most efficient molten-carbonate fuel cell in Europe. It was installed in early 2013 and helps to provide 18 per cent of the energy needed for both Quadrant 3 and the redeveloped Café Royal, now a 5 star hotel, next door.
‘Reading Bug’ at Altrincham Retail Park

Altrincham Retail Park hosted a Reading Bug event on 22-23 March.
The campaign will be rolled out locally, inviting children to write stories about why they like Altrincham. All the short stories will be displayed at Altrincham Retail Park. The best story, as voted for by the local community, will receive a fantastic £500-worth of books for their school.

Westgate plans gain approval from Oxford City Council
