Purchase of rural portfolio from Rio Tinto

We have purchased a 4,500 acre agricultural land portfolio in Northumberland from Rio Tinto. The portfolio will now be known as the Ellington estate.
The portfolio includes agricultural land, farm buildings, 19 homes, and an operational 13 turbine wind farm leased to Scottish Power Renewables.

Dunster woodland activity centre gets go ahead

A proposed woodland activity centre near Nutcombe Bottom, close to our Dunster estate, has been granted planning permission by the Exmoor National Park Authority after an extensive period of consultation.

Work commences on Lecht road junction project

A project to redevelop the Lecht road junction at Tomintoul on the Glenlivet estate has just begun.
The Gateway project is a partnership between the Cairngorms National Park, Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust and The Crown Estate. The project aims to provide an attractive welcome to the village and encourage passing motorists into Tomintoul.

Ares Management take 30,000 sq ft Regent Street office lease

We have signed a lease agreement with Ares Management Ltd, the United Kingdom affiliate of US-based Ares Management LLC, for 2,800 m2 (30,000 ft2) of office space at 10 New Burlington Street within Regent Street's £250 million W4 redevelopment, which is being carried out by The Crown Estate and Exemplar.

Alastair Smart short-listed in London Planning Awards

Alastair Smart, Head of Development and Project Management, has been shortlisted for the 'London Planning & Development Person of the Year 2013', a new award in the London Planning Awards.
The awards are the 'Oscars' of the planning and development sector, and are organised by London First, in conjunction with the Mayor of London, the Royal Town Planning Institute and London councils.
