Savills appointed as property manager for Princesshay Shopping Centre

Savills has been appointed as property manager at Princesshay Shopping Centre in Exeter by The Crown Estate and TIAA Henderson Real Estate (TH Real Estate).

The 530,000 ft2 city centre retail and leisure scheme is anchored by Debenhams, Zara, Next and TopShop. Leisure operators include Giraffe, Cafe Rouge, Byron and Carluccios.

Graeme Clark, national head of shopping centre management at Savills, commented: “Savills already manages a substantial residential portfolio on behalf of The Crown Estate and this latest instruction represents an exciting new venture into the commercial property arena. Princesshay is already an incredibly popular retail and leisure destination in the South West and we are delighted to be working with The Crown Estate and TH Real Estate to further improve the offer.”

Princesshay Shopping Centre is owned jointly by The Crown Estate and TH Real Estate, which recently purchased a 50% interest in the scheme. The Crown Estate acts as the asset manager on behalf of the joint owners.
