We won the award on the back of activity this year including:

  • West End flagship lettings included iconic international brands Uno de 50, Hunter, Goat, Michael Kors, Bike Rooms, Arc’teryx, and La Martina
  • a spate of new openings and entrants in our West End occupier market, including the iconic Jo Malone launching its global premier boutique on Regent Street
  • several new restaurant openings adding to the diversity of the offering within the West End, including the all-day British café from Burberry
  • 10 New Burlington Street, a £250 million mixed-use development completed fully let, with flagship openings for new UK arrival, J.Crew
  • Two Michelin-starred chefs joined the portfolio. The Araki is sushi master Mitsuhiro Araki’s world-exclusive new restaurant, while Gordon Ramsay opened his Heddon Street Kitchen
  • New franchises at our retail parks included Debenhams and H&M at the Coliseum Shopping Park in Ellesmere Port, M&S Simply Food at the South Aylesford Retail Park in Maidstone, and TK Maxx and M&S at the Victoria Retail Park, Nottingham.

Part of a formidable shortlist including such strong competitors as British Land, Capital & Regional and  Whitbread, we were awarded the title at the eleventh annual EG Awards, which took place on 10 December 2015 at the prestigious London Hilton on Park Lane. Over 850 professionals joined together to celebrate the best in the commercial property industry.

The news comes hot on the heels that 10 New Burlington Street, London W1, having already won the Best Office and Best Mixed-Use Development awards at the UK Property Awards 2015, has scooped the Regional award for Office Development for the UK region at the International Property Awards this week.
