Kate Bowyer appointed as Chief Financial Officer

We have announced today that Kate Bowyer will be joining the business this autumn as Chief Financial Officer.

Kate joins from FTSE 100 company, Intu Properties Plc, where she was Director of Finance and a member of the Executive Committee for its £9.6bn retail and leisure property business.

As Chief Financial Officer, Kate will work closely with the Chief Executive, Alison Nimmo, and the wider Executive Committee, to determine the business’s strategic and commercial agenda, driving high performance, long term growth and value creation.

Kate joined Intu Properties Plc (previously Capital Shopping Centres Group Plc) in 2000 as Group Financial Controller, before serving as Head of Investor Relations, Business Relations Director and then Director of Finance since August 2014. Prior to that Kate was at PwC. The appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer follows the retirement of John Lelliott, who will be leaving after over 30 years with the business.
