An archaeological reporting scheme which helps the marine aggregate industry report historical finds from the seabed will benefit from a renewed funding deal between The Crown Estate and the British Marine Aggregate Producers Association (BMAPA).

The Marine Aggregate Archaeological Reporting Protocol, set up by the BMAPA and English Heritage in 2005 and operated by Wessex Archaeology, will receive £60,000 over the next three years as part of our marine stewardship fund, which has provided funding to the scheme since 2009.

David Shaw, Head of the Regent Street portfolio, unveiled two new Regent Street Office brands at the portfolio's 'All About Offices' event hosted at BBC Broadcasting House.

These new brands, "Regent Street Office Direct" and "Offices by Regent Street", support our ongoing £1 billion investment, which is focused very significantly on offices. Given the scale of Regent Street's offices and the potential for future growth in office space we see Regent Street as a distinct, three million ft2 office sub-market, as attractive as any in London.

13 May 2013

Countryside Rangers from Glenlivet visited Tomintoul Primary School last week to teach pupils about the black grouse and its elaborate mating ritual, known as "lekking".

Pupils took part in various activities designed to teach them about this rare bird and its lekking ritual, a rarely observed behaviour that takes place throughout late April and May at daybreak.

There are eight black grouse lek sites on the estate. These are monitored as part of keeping an eye on the overall status of black grouse in the Cairngorms.
