TARBERT YOUNGSTERS TAKE TO THE SEA

The Crown Estate helped young spectators at last weekend’s Brewin Dolphin Scottish Series get a taste of sailing themselves.
The event which was organised by Tarbert Enterprise Company and sponsored for the second year by The Crown Estate and saw youngsters take part in a series of taz races in the harbour area, under the supervision of Oban-based social enterprise Stramash. Encouragement was on hand from Olympic gold medal-winner Shirley Robertson, who stopped by to meet the aspiring sailors.
