NEW MARKETING APPOINTMENT FOR THE ROYAL LANDSCAPE

The Crown Estate is pleased to be able to announce the appointment of Catherine Corrigan as Marketing Manager for the Windsor estate. Catherine graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Retail Management and has over nine years marketing experience with an emphasis on marketing communications and membership management.

Catherine’s experience includes working in both agency and client side, enabling her to work for a variety of blue chip clients including Citroën, Vodafone and Pentax. Her client side work has included marketing and promotions including advising managers on localised marketing approaches and increasing membership numbers for organisations nationwide.

The Marketing Manager role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including the management of all marketing activity for the Windsor estate and the promotion of The Savill Building, the new award-winning visitor centre within The Royal Landscape in Windsor Great Park.

The Royal Landscape is a unique heritage site comprising 1,000 acres of woodlands, lakes and gardens including the Savill and Valley Gardens and Virginia Water, set within the south east corner of Windsor Great Park. It forms an important and integral part of The Crown Estate’s ownership and stewardship responsibilities.

As custodians of Windsor Great Park, The Crown Estate seeks actively to conserve The Royal Landscape for the enjoyment and amenity of present and future generations. To enhance this enjoyment The Crown Estate will continue to invest in The Royal Landscape to offer a best in class visitor destination offering high quality facilities and services.

Speaking about her appointment, Catherine Corrigan said: “I am delighted to join The Crown Estate at such an exciting time. I am very much looking forward to being part of the continuing success of The Royal Landscape and relish the opportunity to promote some of the finest landscape gardens in Britain.”
