Awards
The inaugural awards in 2006, originally known as the Scottish Salmon Farmer Awards, were such a success that we received queries at the first gala dinner about the next competition. It was repeated in 2007 and, going from strength to strength in 2008, has now expanded into the Marine Aquaculture Awards.
The winners from each year can be proud of their achievements and benefit from publicity and marketing opportunities. We are confident that the awards have wider benefits, because high standards of fish farming are good for the marine environment, for local communities and for the industry in general.
