Customer Satisfaction Survey

A customer satisfaction survey was carried out this year on the affordable housing estates in London, which features over 1,300 properties. This year the survey was carried out on our behalf by PPCR Associates who consider the 56% response rate as very good. Overall 83% of residents are satisfied with the estate on which they live.

In summary, satisfaction rates have improved across the board since the last survey in 2003, although we do need to look at how we can involve tenants more in community consultation.

As a result of carrying out a “STATUS” survey we have been able, for the first time, to benchmark our performance against 11 comparator social landlords, most based in London, and of a similar size.

The results were very encouraging. Our affordable housing estates were ranked joint first as a good place to live, and in a large number of categories, including satisfaction with the overall service provided, value for money, and in satisfaction with accommodation, we were ranked second highest.
