The Gift Company completes Banbury Gateway’s shopping offer, as the park celebrates its first birthday

Banbury Gateway Shopping Park has welcomed The Gift Company among its diverse mix of popular retail brands as it celebrates the first anniversary of its launch.

29 November 2016

The Shopping Park, which opened in Autumn 2015, now boasts 13 stores in total, including M&S, Primark and Next, and popular food and drinks outlets such as Starbucks and McDonalds.

The latest letting demonstrates the strong credentials of the scheme which has seen significant investment by The Crown Estate to maximise customer experience. Since the scheme first opened, The Crown Estate has made changes to the way the car park is managed to make it easier for more people to come and enjoy the park, including additional highways signage, cycling facilities and new public art to be installed in January 2017.

Banbury Gateway benefits from a strong location, only 2 miles from Banbury town centre, with Oxford, Daventry and Towbridge all within easy reach and a regular bus service which runs between Banbury and the park. The scheme is already performing well compared to other schemes in the area, with the highest level of retail conversion, customer spend per visit and number of trips per year being reported by visitors.
