Underwater Photography of the Year Exhibition

FREE from 9 September to 6 October, dive into the beauty and biodiversity of British waters with this striking photography exhibition, hosted by The Crown Estate in partnership with Underwater Photographer of the Year.

From majestic orcas to tiny stalked jellyfish, beautiful brittlestars to smiling seals, this exhibition showcases the sometimes-forgotten wonders of our marine world and reminds us to consider our own impact on this precious ecosystem.

This outdoor exhibition celebrates 10 years of the competition, bringing together over 20 vibrant images from divers and photographers through the years.

The Crown Estate has been supporting this competition since 2018, sponsoring the “British Waters Living Together” category, which showcases the co-existence of nature and human activities in the UK’s increasingly busy marine environment.

Life on our seabed can sometimes be overlooked, but this exhibition shows we have extremely rich marine biodiversity which coexists alongside offshore industries. The Crown Estate plays an important role in the sustainable development of the seabed, balancing the interests of marine industries that will support our transition to net zero alongside the needs of nature and our natural environment.
