Annual Report 2025/26

At The Crown Estate we manage a diverse portfolio of land, property and seabed across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, returning our profits to the UK Government to help fund public services.

In 2025/26 we generated a net revenue profit of £0.5 billion for the UK. This means that over the last 10 years we have delivered £5bn for public spending.

Our long-term strategy focuses our portfolio and expertise where we can make the greatest difference, helping to address national needs and creating lasting financial, environmental and social value for the nation.

Our impact

Abbey Garth - Sustainable agreements

The environmental Farm Business Tenancy agreement that we developed in partnership with the Tenant Farmers Association is core to our strategy to create financial, social and environmental value for current and future generations.

The long-term agreements introduce a more flexible model to help farmers balance the competing demands on land use, while ensuring that food production remains core. Creating space for habitat restoration alongside food production supports biodiversity, improves soil health and helps reduce carbon emissions and water use. It can also help to build climate resilience, not only on our own land but also in the surrounding areas.
