THE CROWN ESTATE APPOINTS ALEX PEEKE TO ITS LEGAL TEAM

The Crown Estate has announced today that Alex Peeke joined The Crown Estate’s legal team on 2 June 2009.
Alex will join our in-house team of five lawyers. His specific focus will be on the urban estate but he will work across our broader interests, which also include the rural, marine and Windsor estates. He moves from the property department of Macfarlanes.
Commenting on the appointment, Vivienne King, Legal Director at The Crown Estate said: “Alex is a very talented lawyer with a strong background in real estate law. He brings with him a wealth of experience across the commercial real estate sectors, which stand him in good stead to handle the diverse and exciting challenges of a portfolio that ranges from fish farming in Scotland to retail on Regent Street.”
Alex Peeke said of his appointment: “I am delighted to be joining The Crown Estate’s Legal team – there is nowhere else you would see such a diversity of interests and issues. I look forward to working with the team and to contributing to The Crown Estate’s ongoing success.”
Prior to Macfarlanes, Alex worked in the Commercial Real Estate Department of Slaughter and May.
