Offshore Wind Evidence and Change Programe - themes and projects

The Offshore Wind Evidence and Change programme comprises a mix of studies, research projects and evidence-gathering to help better understand and overcome the cumulative environmental impacts of offshore wind, and its effects on users of the sea and onshore communities.

Each project must support the overall programme mission and fulfil other agreed criteria.  Projects are delivered through one or more of four core themes, which emerged from a process of collaboration and have been endorsed by the Programme Steering Group.

By the end of the first year, with financing from The Crown Estate, the programme had committed to 25 projects, with three completed and 13 underway.
