In 2024/25 The Crown Estate generated a net revenue profit of £1.1 billion for the UK. This temporary significant uplift in profits is driven by the short-term option fees from Offshore Wind Leasing Round 4. This means that over the last 10 years we have delivered £5bn for spending on vital public services. We have secured new borrowing and investment powers through the Crown Estate Act 2025 and established key partnerships to allow us to go even further in addressing national needs.
You can find out more about what we’ve achieved and our ambitions for the future in this video from our CEO, Dan Labbad.
