St James’s, London, autumn food tours

For over 300 years St James’ and Piccadilly has had a reputation as a home of fine food, culinary expertise and innovation. Nowhere else in London does such a high concentration of excellent restaurants, shops, chefs and experts in speciality foods exist.

To celebrate this St James’s London and Heart of London are offering the chance to join food tours which take in some of the finest establishments St James’s has to offer.

St James’s London: Food

The exclusive tours offer participants the chance to tour a selection of the finest restaurant and food providers in the St James’s and Piccadilly area. Hosted by Jonathan Ray of The Spectator, the food tours take in seven or eight locations, with the guests sampling signature dishes and drink and learning a little about each restaurant and about St James’s.

Famous chefs from the area will be sharing their recipes, expertise and trade secrets with food explorers on the hunt for a taste of excellence in the heart of London.

Anthea Harries, St James’s Portfolio Manager, explains how the project will cement the quarter as a favourite terminus for food lovers: “The exciting plans for the St James’s Market area will build on the current outstanding dining experiences by collaborating with some of the best restaurateurs in the world. We’re thrilled to be opening eight new restaurants over the next 12 months in the area.”
