St James’s Market offices fully let

The Crown Estate and Oxford Properties have successfully completed the leasing of the offices at St James’s Market, including welcoming JO Hambro Capital Management.    

In total, 210,000 sq. ft. of office space at the development has been let to 10 occupiers, bringing around 1,500 staff to the area, creating a new office hub in the heart of the West End.

The latest round of office lettings coincides with a summer of events and activity at the destination, including a series of live acoustic music sessions at the St James’s Market Pavilion throughout the summer, as well as a live screening of the Wimbledon tennis tournament in July.

In addition to the office space, St James’s Market is home to a fantastic array of international restaurants, including: the recently opened Scully, the first solo venture from former NOPI head chef Ramael Scully; Nordic restaurant Aquavit, awarded a Michelin-star in autumn 2017; West African Ikoyi; Duck and Waffle Local; Tonkotsu; Urban Tea Rooms and Danish bakery Ole and Steen.

Six top fashion and lifestyle brands have also opened at the destination; Aspinal of London, Paul and Shark, Swiss cycling brand ASSOS, Smeg and Jigsaw’s St James’s Emporium.

Commenting on the completion of lettings on behalf of The St James’s Market Partnership, Oliver Smith, said: “St James’s Market has revitalised a previously overlooked area of the West End, creating a fantastic new business address, alongside some of the best names in international dining and retail. We’re delighted to see the office space 100% let so soon after completion, demonstrating strong demand for quality space, in the right locations”.
