The Crown Estate appoints JLL as managing agent to its Central London portfolio

The Crown Estate, one of the largest landowners in London’s West End, has appointed JLL as managing agent to its Central London portfolio, following a competitive tender process.

The mandate, which includes property and facilities management services, encompasses all commercial and residential properties across The Crown Estate’s central London holdings, including all of Regent Street and around half of St James’s, totalling c.10m sq ft.

Commenting on the appointment James Cooksey, Director of Central London said: “I am very excited about JLL’s appointment which is an important next step in continuing to enhance the experience of our customers across London’s West End. We believe that working closely in partnership with a single managing agent will enable us to better collaborate and drive efficiencies to improve quality, consistency and encourage innovation.”
