The Crown Estate announces five new restaurants to open at Fosse Park
The Crown Estate has today announced that five new food outlets will be opening at Food Central, part of Fosse Park’s new £168m extension which opened last month.
The five new outlets include four Leicestershire-based independent brands, including:
- Chaiiwala, an Indian street food provider
- Grounded Kitchen, who prepare Korean-inspired nutrient-rich nourish bowls
- Boo, a family partnership who craft modern American-style burgers using British ingredients
- ISHA Patisserie, an exciting new patisserie concept also offering breakfast, lunch and drinks
Also coming to Food Central is one of the UK’s leading Thai restaurant chains, Thai Express.
They join an already-impressive line-up at Food Central, which now has 10 of its 13 new food and beverage spaces filled with some of the most exciting brands across the region and the country.
Michael Bell, Senior Asset Manager at The Crown Estate, said: “Fosse Park has been a much-loved destination in the Leicester area over the last 30 years. Our ambition is for the new extension to support this legacy by welcoming new and exciting Leicestershire-based businesses, and showcasing local talent.
“These new names will be a fantastic addition, and will provide great diversity and choice for visitors, alongside some of the nation’s best-known food and restaurant brands.
“It has been great to see shoppers and visitors safely return to Fosse Park over the last month to explore our new spaces. In the coming weeks, we hope to be able to announce even more brands coming to Fosse Park West and Food Central.”
All five outlets will now begin to fit out their units, with a view to opening in the summer.Back to Media & Insights
